Casino Knowledge : Sic Bo

Live Game

Live Sic Bo

Sic Bo is played using three dice. The idea of the game is simple – you make a bet on a certain kind of a dice roll result. Then the dice are rolled. If the result you bet on does appear, you win; if it does not, you lose your bet.
Live Sic Bo is played using a live dealer and a real set of dice. We use standard Sic Bo rules.
  • There is probably a game round in progress at the moment you enter. Please wait until the current game round is finished. You can then place your bets.
  • Click on a chip of desired value to select it. Then click on any bet area on the table to place your bet there (a list of available bets is shown in the Sic Bo Bets section). Every click on the area adds one chip to the bet. Select another chip if you wish to increase the bet by some other amount. Right clicking on the area removes one chip. You can place several chips into several areas at the same time.
  • You have a limited amount of time from the moment a round is started to place a bet. Then the next round is rolled and if your bet wins, you receive your winnings. You can skip a turn by simply not placing any bets on the table. When finished placing your bets, click the Confirm button.

Sic Bo Bets

You may place multiple bets at the same time. You can identify the different bet areas on the table by placing the cursor on an area and reading the info text on the status bar (the low edge of the screen). Sic Bo features the following betting options:

Small/Big Bet:

Status bar info text on these areas is "Small" or "Big". Small Bet wins if the total sum of the three dice is 4 to 10. Big Bet wins on a total of 11 to 17. Neither Small nor Big Bet wins if the three dice are of the same number (three of a kind).
The Small and Big Bet payoff ratio is 1 to 1.

Number Bet

Placing a number bet means you want a specific number to appear on as many dice as possible. Select a number from 1 to 6 and place your chip(s) on the corresponding area. Status bar info text for these areas is "One", "Two", "Three", etc.
If the chosen number appears 1 time your bet pays 1 to 1, if it appears 2 times your bet pays 2 to 1 and if it appears 3 times your bet pays 3 to 1.

Pair Bet

Make a bet on any of the 15 possible two dice combinations (for example 3 and 4 or 2 and 5 or 2 and 6). Status bar info text for these bets is "Pair".
If both numbers appear, your bet pays 5 to 1.

Total Bet

Placing a total bet means you want the total sum of the three dice to be a certain amount. Possible totals are from 4 to 17. 3 and 18 (which are also possible with three dice) are excluded. Status bar info text for these bet areas is "Total of 4", "Total of 5", "Total of 6", etc.
The pay ratios for the total bet depends on the sum:
Total of 4 60 to 1
Total of 5 30 to 1
Total of 6 17 to 1
Total of 7 12 to 1
Total of 8 8 to 1
Total of 9 6 to 1
Total of 10 6 to 1
Total of 11 6 to 1
Total of 12 6 to 1
Total of 13 8 to 1
Total of 14 12 to 1
Total of 15 17 to 1
Total of 16 30 to 1
Total of 17 60 to 1

Double Bet:

You bet on a specific pair to appear (for example, two 3's). Status bar info text for these areas is "Double One", "Double Two", "Double Three", etc. If at least two of the number chosen appear, you win 10 to 1.

Triple Bet:

You bet on a specific triple to appear (for example, three 2's). Status bar info text for there areas is "Triple One", "Triple Two", "Triple Three", etc. If the chosen triple appears, you win 180 to 1.

Any Triple:

You win if all three dice have the same number (any three of a kind). Status bar info text for this area is "Any Triple". Payoff ratio for this bet is 30 to 1.

Tip:

You have the option to give a tip to the dealer. To give a tip, place chips on the "Tip" stack (same as placing a bet), and click Confirm. Click Cancel to close the tip stack.

Game window:

The top half of the game window contains three panels.
In the center is the video feed of the dealer. Click on the button in the top right corner of the panel to maximize the video feed – it will take up the entire game window. Click the same button to minimize it again. Click the button in the bottom right corner to change the video bitrate. The higher bitrate provides a better picture, but takes up more bandwidth.
On the right is the chat panel. You can see the name of the table and the dealer at the top of the panel. Enter your message into the text field at the bottom of the panel and click Send. Your message will appear along with others in the middle of the panel.
On the left is the game information panel. At the top of the panel you can see your bet and win amounts for the last round in which you played. The Information tab shows the current server time and the game round's unique ID number, plus the minimum and maximum total bet amounts.
The History tab shows the outcome of recent game rounds.

Buttons:

Clear Bets Clear your bets on the table.
Re bet Place the same bets as in the previous round.
Confirm Click here when you have placed all your bets to confirm your bets – without confirmation your bets don't count.
The lower edge of the game window holds the casino toolbar. It contains the following:
  • Current balance

Your account balance. This is the money you can use to play the casino games.
  • Cashier

Clicking this button opens the Cashier window, where you can make deposits and withdrawals, see your transaction history, etc.
  • Play for Real Money

This button appears only in Fun or Offline Mode. Clicking it will take you to the Real Money account creation page. If you already have a Real Money account, it will take you to the Play for Real Money login screen.
  • Chat

Clicking this button will activate the black strip to the left of it, turning it into a text box. Enter a message and click Chat again. A separate chat window will open. Please note: You can only talk to other players in multiplayer games.
  • Menu

Three popular functions are united under the Menu. Clicking History (unavailable in Offline mode) will open the game history window, where you can see the details of recent game rounds.
Options allow you to change audio quality and various game play settings, and Help opens the help article that you are reading right now.
Online Support lets you contact a customer support specialist, if one is online.
  • Close/Lobby

Clicking this button closes the game window and takes you back to the Lobby. If you have Multi window support enabled (games are opened in new windows), the button will say Close. If Multi window support is disabled (games are opened in the same window as the Lobby), the button will say Lobby. You can enable or disable this feature in the Options window.

Shortcut keys

If you wish, you can press the following keys on your keyboard instead of clicking on the buttons on the screen.
Press this key To do this
TAB Tab between the buttons on the screen.
ENTER Click the button that is currently highlighted.
SPACEBAR Place your previous bet (same as the Rebet button).
Number keys 1-9 Select a chip. Different number keys select different chips. The number of functioning keys depends on chips allowed for the current player and can be subject to change.
ESC Exit the game and go back to the lobby.
Note on large wins: Winning amounts of $10,000 or more are considered large wins. Large wins need to be verified by a live operator.

Disconnections

  • It may happen that you get disconnected when you have a confirmed bet on the table.
    • If you log back in while the game round is still running, you are automatically directed to continue it, even if you have missed a betting round.
    • If you log back in when the game round is finished, you get a respective message that also informs you of your win amount.

Differential limit

Differential limits are highly specific to baccarat games. A differential limit defines the maximum amount by which the bets placed on the Banker position may differ from those placed on the Player position. These limits apply for a game table. The differential limit value that has been set to a game table can be seen from the casino lobby. The number of players at the table and the amounts wagered per table are not limited for as long as the differential limit is not exceeded.
In the betting rounds, you can start placing your bets as you wish. Do not forget to follow your personal minimum and maximum limits. If, for example, a bet exceeds the differential limit on the Player position, the game blocks this position for further bets and allows bets on the Banker only, until the balance is regained. This does not concern Tie bets.
