Totti and De Rossi sit out Roma training ahead of Genoa clash

The influential duo were both forced to pull out of Monday's session at Trigoria and are now considered doubts for the Giallorossi's next league outing against the Rossoblu.



Roma could be forced to make do without the services of star men Francesco Totti andDaniele De Rossi in Monday's Serie A clash with Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.

According to widespread reports in Italy, both players sat out training on Tuesday after picking up injuries in the previous day's session, with Totti still struggling with the thigh strain which has plagued him of late and De Rossi being consigned to the sidelines with a heel problem.Totti had been a doubt for Saturday's victory over Palermo with the same ailment but he lasted the 90 minutes at the Renzo Barbera.

Miralem Pjanic, who missed the trip to Sicily with a thigh strain sustained in the derby defeat to Lazio sat out training once again on Tuesday, but Aleandro Rosi featured after recovering from the knock he took to his knee the day before.Roma currently sits sixth in Serie A, seven points behind third-placed Lazio. - http://www.goal.com
