Inter striker Diego Milito is hopeful that Sunday's 2-2 draw against Catania will inspire the team to get on the right track.

Milito scored Inter's second goal of the night as the Nerazzurri restored parity late in the game after being down by two goals until the last 20 minutes of the match.

Despite being Inter's ninth game in a row without a win, the draw sees Claudio Ranieri's side earn its first Serie A point since the 4-4 draw with Palermo on Feb. 1.

"We hope that this draw can be a turning point," Milito told Sky Sport Italia. "We showed pride and like usual our opponents scored at the first attempt.

"We were able to equalize and show that this team really want to turn this situation around.

"At halftime, we looked each other in the eyes and we said we needed to recover."

Inter sits seventh in the Serie A standings, 11 points adrift of the Champions League qualification zone, and visits Chievo on Saturday in its upcoming league fixture. - http://www.goal.com/
