Sports stars watch the action

An overexcited Ian Poulter, the golfer, teed off his day at Wimbledon by tweeting the list of his fellow guests in the Royal Box. And no wonder. Is it Friday, Day 11? Or Middle "Sports Stars" Saturday? By whatever means you measure it - head count or professional achievement - the men's semi-final action is being watched by a collection of sporting greats.

Representing tennis, there are: Bjorn Borg, Mansour Bahrami, Jonas Bjorkman, former world No.1 Ashley Cooper, Goran Ivanisevic, Jan Kodes, John Newcombe, Manuel Santana, Fred Stolle, Owen Davidson, Roger Taylor and Mark Woodforde (one half of the legendary "Woodies" doubles team).

Poulter's fellow golfers include Gary Player and Ernie Els, while Denise Lewis, former Olympic heptathlon champion, and racehorse trainer Charlie Brooks make up a pedigree grandstand.
