THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester
City failed to qualify for the Champions League once more after stalling to a
1-1 draw against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
While both teams struggled to win
w1th ease against one another, Karim Benzema flew in Madrid’s first goal on the
10th minute of the game. City struggled to equalize their opponents’ early goal
as it took them a Sergio Aguero penalty shot on the 74th minute to level.
Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Sami
Khedira made close efforts at goal. Even without winning over City, Madrid
still stands to qualify in the Champions League’s next round.
