The tenacious Italian midfielder has recovered from a serious eye problem earlier than expected, and took part in a practice session with his team-mates on Tuesday
AC Milan's Gennaro Gattuso has returned to training, the club have announced on their official website. The midfielder suffered from an eye problem known as ocular myasthenia, a disease of the neuromuscular junction, which is caused by a form of influenza which the 34-year-old is believed to have contacted during the team's recent trip to Dubai.
"Rino Gattuso, whose health has been steadily improving, joined the rest of his team-mates for today's training session," read a statement on AC Milan's webpage on Tuesday. It is not yet clear, however, when the former Rangers player could return to action for Massimiliano Allegri's men.Gattuso, who missed the top-of-the-table clash with Juventus on Saturday, has made just a single appearance in Serie A for the Rossoneri this term. - http://www.goal.com/
