Walcott, the man who helped Arsenal win w1th ease in some of their thrilling
matches this season, will stay in Arsenal past the January transfer window,
according to manager Arsene Wenger.
With nine goals in all competitions
this season, Walcott is currently Arsenal’s top scorer this season. He seeks to
shift from winger to striker, although Wenger said he would still study such a
move.
Robin van Persie’s departure last
summer left a void on the attacking force of Arsenal, as they continue to seek
silverware since winning the 2005 FA Cup.
