12BET UFC Asian Bookie Tips: Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez

Venue: MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vas, Nevada

Date: December 30, 2012
Time: 11:55 AM (+8:00 GMT)

UFC SPORTSBOOKS TIPS – Junior dos Santos will become the centrepiece of UFC 155 this Sunday at the MGM Grand as he faces Cain Velasquez for the second time in his bid to defend his heavyweight championship title.

Best Sportsbook Odds from 12BET.com - MoneyLine: Junior dos Santos as Favourite to Win

“Cigano” dos Santos has a reputation of being UFC heavyweight division’s knockout specialist. He led his way to the championship title last year through a series of knockouts, and took down Velasquez in the Final through a lightning-fast exhibition.

Many would expect an unexceptional form from Velasquez, since the fighter rested for a year following his defeat by dos Santos. Yet, he is in top health now, and has shown his determination for revenge after he battered Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva to reach the Final this year.

12BET.com, the best Malaysia sportsbook, rates Junior dos Santos as the favourite at 1.480. Dos Santos could repeat last year’s rapid takedown of Velasquez, but the Mexican-American is a threat to reckon as he outclassed top fighters such as wrestler Brock Lesnar.

FOOTBALL SPORTSBOOK ODDS TIPS – Everton and Chelsea will feature in a thrilling Premier League holiday match on Sunday. The Toffees have won thrice and drawn twice in their last five games, while Chelsea have won four times and lost once.

Best Football Bet Asian Handicap: Chelsea as Favourites

Everton’s favourable run have merited them a possible top-four finish; they are currently fifth on the table with 33 points – tied with Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion. Midfielder Marouane Fellaini will not feature due to his ban, while Kevin Mirallas is still injured.

12BET Football Tips: Macclesfield Town vs. Barrow

Venue: Moss Rose Ground (Macclesfield, Cheshire)

Date: December 29, 2012
Time: 23:30 (+8:00 GMT)

FOOTBALL SPORTSBOOK ODDS TIPS – Conference National sides Macclesfield Town and Barrow will meet one another in the second round of the FA Cup. The Silkmen have gone through two wins and one draw in this season’s cup, while the Bluebirds have two wins and two draws.

Best Football Bet Asian Handicap: Macclesfield Town as Favourites, 0.5-1 (0.75)-Handicap for Barrow

Macclesfield Town are currently ninth in the Conference National league table – a favourable standing following their relegation from League Two last season. They hosted Barrow in a 2-0 league win, followed by a 1-1 tie in the cup hosted by the Bluebirds.

Barrow are currently at the bottom of the Conference National league table, putting them in danger of relegation to the Conference North. Among their losses is a 2-0 away defeat to Macclesfield town, so a win against them in the cup’s second round would serve as redemption.

Top Malaysia bookmaker 12BET.com rates Macclesfield Town as favourites to win at 1.940. Bettors for the Silkmen have to hope for at least a one-goal victory against the Bluebirds to win in their bets (1-0 to 1-0.75 for the Silkmen).

12BET Football Betting Preview & Tips: Liverpool vs. Fulham

Venue: Anfield (Liverpool)

Date: December 23, 2012
Time: 1:30 (+8:00 GMT)

FOOTBALL SPORTSBOOK ODDS TIPS – Liverpool will face their next challenger Fulham in Sunday’s Premier League home game. The Reds have two wins, one draw and two losses in their last five matches, while the Cottagers have won once, drawn once and lost thrice.

Best Football Bet Asian Handicap: Liverpool as Favourites, 0.5-1 (0.75) -Handicap for Fulham

Hosts Liverpool’s home record of three wins, three draws and three losses may prove sturdy compared to Fulham’s dismal away record of one win, four draws and four losses. Yet, the Reds’ loss to Aston Villa in their previous home game showed that they are not completely fortified.

While Liverpool are struggling to get back in good form following a bad start this season, Fulham are currently slumping. They lost against Queens Park Rangers in their latest match, stretching their winless streak to six matches.

Anfield could see another win from Liverpool, rated by top Malaysia bookmaker 12BET.com as favourites to win at 1.680. Fulham have a 0.5-1 (0.75) handicap advantage, so Reds punters have to hope that their side wins by one goal for them to win in betting.

12BET Betting Preview & Tips: Bayern München vs. Borussia Monchengladbach

Venue: Allianz-Arena (Bayern München)

Date: December 15, 2012
Time: 3:30 (+8:00 GMT)

This Saturday’s Germany-Bundesliga will feature frontrunners Bayern München going against Borussia Monchengladbach. Bayern has won thrice and drawn twice in their last five league games, while Monchengladbach has won twice, drawn twice and lost once.

Odds for Asian Handicap: Bayern München as Favourites; 2.2.5 (2.5)-Handicap for Borussia Monchengladbach

Bayern has won 13 of their 16 league matches this season. Alongside two draws, the Bavarians got their only league loss this season at home from Bayer Leverkusen. Both sides have no problems with injured players.

In this fixture, Bayern stand as favourites for winners at 1.960, although punters for the Bavarian outfit must hope for a three-goal scoreline lead (home win at 3-0, 4-1, etc.) in order to get past through Monchengladbach’s 2-2.5 (2.25) handicap.

Avoid Danger from Big Bad Wolf Fans: PFA Considers Adding Protective Netting on Pitches

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Following the coin-pelting incident that injured Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand in last Sunday’s Manchester league derby, the Professional Footballers’ Association is now thinking of surrounding pitches with protective nets.

Gordon Taylor, PFA chief executive, said that such move is necessary to protect the players from erring fans seeking to leave a footpr1nt in matches through pitch invasion and throwing random objects on the pitch.

Daily Mail pundit Jamie Redknapp, for his part, called on players to restrain from taunting opposition fans so that they could avoid flying objects from angry fans. He said that players have to be responsible for their actions on the pitch.

Rising from 9GAG Ridicule: Torres Brace Help Earn Benitez’ First Chelsea Win

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Fernando Torres’ efforts to improve his disappointing form at Chelsea paid off as he scored a brace on Sunday’s league game against hosts Sunderland 1-3.

The Spanish striker opened scoring on the 11th minute and followed up a 45th-minute penalty to bring visiting Chelsea 0-2 by the end of the first half. Compatriot Juan Mata found the back of the net four minutes into the second half.

Adam Johnson’s strike on the 66th minute proved inadequate to match Chelsea’s dominance at the Stadium of Light. The Blues’ league victory is a first for interim manager Rafael Benitez, who constantly sought to leave a footpr1nt at the club since his takeover from Roberto di Matteo.

Be Strong like AFF Suzuki: Wenger Calls on Arsenal to Remain Firm

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has called on his side to remain strong and united in the face of their lacklustre form this season. The Gunners currently sit in 10th place in the table after losing at home to Swansea City 0-2.

Wenger is confident that they will still win w1th ease in matches to gain a higher place in this season’s league table. He said that he believes in the “quality of the players and the spirit we have”.

Having failed to win w1th ease against Swansea, Wenger noted that his side lacked their much-needed creativity. They are lagging behind leaders Manchester United with a 15-point gap, yet the manager said that he is “not so much worried about league places”.

Marvellous Twilight Win: Tottenham Win over Liverpool

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Tottenham Hotspur successfully defended White Hart Lane against Liverpool 2-1 in Wednesday’s Premier League clash.

Aaron Lennon was pivotal to the Spurs’ first-half domination, scoring on the seventh minute after firing Gareth Bale’s cross inside the goal. Bale himself found the net less than 20 minutes into the game after a 25-yard effort that went beyond stunned keeper Pepe Reina.

Bale’s luck ran out towards the second half, as the Welshman carelessly let an own goal pass through Liverpool’s woodwork. Attempts from Luis Suarez, Daniel Agger and Jose Enrique failed to lead the visitors to win w1th ease, ending an eight-match unbeaten run in the league.

Chelsea Fans – Opposition to Benitez Will Ensue

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea fans have warned that their opposition against new manager Rafael Benitez will continue as long as he stays in the club.

The Spaniard has figured in past tussles against Chelsea when he was still manager of Liverpool – the side he lead to win w1th ease to earn the 2004-05 Champions League title. Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard’s looming exit forms another reasons for his unpopularity.

Chelsea Supporters’ Group chair Trizia Fiorellino emphasized that the fans do not approve of Rafa taking over Roberto Di Matteo’s post, and that they did not want the Champions League-winning Italian out in the first place.

THE LATEST UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE NEWS – Newcastle United have qualified for the Europa League’s round of 32 through a 1-1 draw against visitors Maritimo in Wednesday’s encounter.

Painful UPSR Result 2012: Man City Crash Out of UEFA Champions League after Drawing With Real Madrid

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester City failed to qualify for the Champions League once more after stalling to a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
